No matter your passion, we have something you'll be great at – here's a list of the varying youth volunteer opportunities we have throughout the city. Register now!
Career Panel
Share your story of success in the classroom and motivate teens about the exciting possibilities within your career in our youth mentoring programs. Denver Goodwill sponsors these programs in 26 area high schools.
College Panel
College panels give current college students the opportunity to share their collegiate experience with high school students in order to motivate teens about the exciting possibilities that exist for those pursuing a college education. We get invaluable assistance from those who volunteer for our mentoring programs – Denver has 26 locations alone to fit your schedule, location and needs.
Mock Interviews
Help students gain the confidence they need along with valuable interviewing skills that will prepare them for both post-secondary interviews (colleges/scholarships) and actual job interviews.
Guest Speaking
Share your education, work and life experiences in a high school classroom and help our youth understand how to navigate and take advantage of the many possibilities life offers. Get them excited about their future!
Resume Workshops
Our classes have been preparing resumes to begin the job or internship search. Volunteers work with students one-on-one in a classroom setting to provide resume feedback and tips for improvement.
Youth Mentor
Join our youth mentoring programs. Denver Goodwill coordinates the opportunity for you to work with a teen one-on-one each and help them realize their potential and how to leverage their strengths in the real world. Build job skills, set education and career goals, explore future opportunities and prepare them for life after high school.
