Goodwill Gift Card Terms and Conditions
Purchase of Goodwill gift cards: Gift cards may be purchased at participating metro Denver and northern Colorado Goodwill stores. Coupons may not be used to purchase gift cards.
Use of Goodwill gift cards: No taxes are charged on the purchase of gift cards. Applicable taxes are charged when gift cards are redeemed. Gift cards can be redeemed only for future purchases of merchandise. Upon redeeming your gift card, if your purchase exceeds the amount of the gift card, you will need to pay the balance. When redeeming gift cards, any unused balance will be available for future purchases of merchandise or services. Gift cards purchased through any unauthorized resellers, e-Bay or other internet auction sites are not guaranteed by Goodwill.
Lost or Stolen Gift Card: Gift cards cannot be replaced or redeemed if lost or stolen. If found, please return Goodwill gift cards to a Goodwill store.
Nonreturnable; not for resale: Gift cards are not returnable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except in states where required by law. Resale of Goodwill gift cards is prohibited.
Not for promotional use: Goodwill gift cards may be used as personal or business gifts, but may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising or other promotional activities (including without limitation via websites, Internet advertisements, email, telemarketing, direct mail, newspaper and magazine advertisements, and radio and television broadcasts) unless you obtain Goodwill's prior written approval. If you are interested in using the cards for any promotional purpose, please contact Goodwill via the contact information found on our website.
Compliance with laws: By purchasing Goodwill gift cards, you are certifying and representing to Goodwill that the activities in connection with which the Goodwill gift cards will be used will comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and that the Goodwill gift cards will not be used in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair or otherwise harmful to consumers or Goodwill. In addition, you agree to defend and indemnify Goodwill Industries of Denver, its affiliates and employees from and against any claims, expenses or liabilities made against or incurred by any of them in connection with your improper use of the Goodwill gift cards or in violation of any of these Terms and Conditions.
Goodwill Gift Card Balance: For balance information on your Goodwill gift card(s), please see a store associate. In most cases, the balance is adjusted immediately when you make a purchase, but there may be occasions when the updated balance is delayed for a period of time.
Goodwill Gift Cards Do Not Expire: Goodwill gift cards never expire.
Governing Law. When you purchase, receive, or redeem a Goodwill gift card, you agree that the laws and courts of the State of Colorado shall exclusively govern these Terms and Conditions, without regard to principles of conflict of laws.
