Goodwill is working with the City of Denver to “Bring Back the Arts!”

DENVER, Colo. – The Bringing Back the Arts Foundation was founded by First Lady of Denver Mary Louise Lee with a mission to restore art programs in Denver Public Schools, expand access to our city's cultural institutions for all residents and spotlight local performing artists. The Bringing Back the Arts Foundation Internship Program will work to offer DPS students a premiere art internship experience. Intern sponsors give students a life changing opportunity to get their first experience working in the creative industry of their choice.
Goodwill provides training and ongoing support for Goodwill students who are participating in internships in the arts. This year, we'll be launching our sixth group cohort of interns. 61 students have completed 5,715 hours of work experience at 27 companies so far! Internship placements include positions at the Denver Art Museum, Wonderbound, Center for Visual Art, Denver Fashion Truck, Swallow Hill Music, Colorado Ballet, Lighthouse Writers, and more!
