The 2013 Goodwill Fashion Show & Clothing Swap was a run(a)way success!
Goodwill’s third annual Good Exchange for Change Fashion Show and Clothing Swap was held on February 7, 2013 at EXDO Event Center. Aspiring designers from Goodwill’s Youth Career Development Program modeled their repurposed fashions before Project Runway All Stars winner Mondo Guerra and other Project Runway designers, Peach Carr, Michael Costello and Fallene Wells.
Fallene Wells also showed off the great finds she discovered at Goodwill’s Déjà Blue Boutique, and two upcycle designers, Baily Rose and Kotomi Yoshida, debuted their new lines.
The night wrapped up when guests “racked” up the fun at the new and improved clothing swap. Each guest brought at least 10 items to swap and had the chance to leave with 10 new-to-them fabulous finds. This year, the swap area was more than twice the size of last year.
Thank you to all who attended and made the event a success!
Stay tuned for details about next year's fabulous event!
