Goodwill Industries of Denver has gone global. Now, thanks to a new partnership between Goodwill and Amazon.com shoppers worldwide can buy gently used books from Goodwill online.
Goodwill is distributing the books from its new 95,000 square foot warehouse at 3155 S. Platte River Drive in Englewood. Due to the success of its “online bookshelf,” Goodwill plans to expand its new ecommerce venture selling unique collectables and hard-to-find household items on eBay.
Proceeds from the sale of all donated items both online and in traditional Goodwill retail stores fund community programs that help at-risk youth, struggling adults and individuals with disabilities in Denver and Northern Colorado.
