A new community-minded boutique from an unexpected company is coming to Cherry Creek North. The boutique -- a first of its kind for Goodwill Industries of Denver -- will feature gently-used, high-end clothing, shoes and accessories at a fraction of their retail value. Opening in March of 2012, the store is situated in the heart of the Cherry Creek North shopping district at 303 University Blvd. in Denver. Déjà Blue will be unlike any other Goodwill store in the area. Sign up NOW for news and promotions about Deja Blue.
Here’s what to expect:
• With a trendy look and design inside and out, the building previously occupied by Homer Reed Ltd. will be upscale and boutique chic.
• Déjà Blue will sell high-end, gently used clothing donated by the community.
• The boutique will not be a donation drop-off point for Goodwill donors.
• Goodwill does not plan to pull merchandise from any existing Goodwill stores. Shoppers will still find the high-end, brand-name goods they’ve come to expect at all 24 Denver and northern Colorado retail stores.
• Proceeds from Déjà Blue will fund Goodwill community programs that help tens of thousands of people in Denver each year.
“The Déjà Blue boutique is an exciting new store model allowing Goodwill to be an even better steward of some of our higher-end donations, which in-turn, will position Goodwill to provide more services in our local community,” said Jesse Wolff CEO of Goodwill Industries of Denver.
Déjà Blue will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sundays. The sale of donated goods at Déjà Blue and all Goodwill Denver retail stores fund career-focused community programs for at-risk youth, struggling adults and individuals with disabilities.
