Home » Goodwill receives grant to fund youth program |
Goodwill Industries of Denver has received a $60,000 Daniels Fund grant to support its Youth Career Development Program. The grant will assist 18,000 at-risk youth in 28 Denver and Northern Colorado schools that are currently served by Goodwill’s youth program. The program gives disadvantaged students the tools they need to succeed through job-readiness training and career education.
Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable television known for his kindness and generosity to those in need, established the Daniels Fund to provide grants and scholarships in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. For more information, please visit www.danielsfund.org
