Home » Bike to work on a Good Bike |
Bike to Work Day is Wednesday, June 27 and Goodwill has just what you need for it—Good Bikes at great prices!
Goodwill’s newest mission program, Good Bikes, provides employment and job skills training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Good Bikes participants are trained and paid to repair donated bikes and restore them to excellent working condition. The bikes are then sold in Goodwill stores and revenue from the sale of the bikes funds Goodwill programs. It’s an endless cycle of good!
Refurbished bikes are currently sold in four Goodwill stores: Goodwill Aurora-Illiff, Goodwill Boulder, Goodwill Stapleton, and Goodwill Fort Collins. So stop on by, pick up a bike, and roll into work on Bike to Work Day knowing you not only did something good for your health but good for your community.
