Goodwill and 9NEWS hit the Road to help the community
Goodwill is hitting the pavement again for the 9Cares Road Trip as part of the annual 9Cares Colorado Shares Summer Drive on Saturday, June 16. Leading up to the event, 9NEWS will broadcast live from six businesses hosting employee donation drives, plus Goodwill will collect donations from outlying Goodwill stores.

From June 12 through June 14, 9NEWS Anchor Gregg Moss will visit select companies during a morning newscast between 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and report live from each location. Best of all, donations collected from the corporate drives will benefit local Colorado families in need. This year's companies are Kaiser Permanente, DaVita, Xcel Energy, Nationwide Insurance, Charles Schwab, and Century Link.
Goodwill will also collect clothing, household items, and non-perishable food donations for the 9Cares Colorado Shares Summer Drive at seven outlying Goodwill stores and donation centers during the week leading up to the 9Cares Colorado Shares Summer Drive (June 11 - June 16) including the Castle Rock Donation Center, Fort Morgan store, Fort Collins store, Greeley store, Lafayette store, Longmont store, and Loveland store.
All clothing and household item donations will go to Goodwill stores, where profits fund community programs for at-risk youth, struggling adults, and individuals with disabilities. Food donations will be distributed to more than 125 local food banks in Colorado through a partnership with Food Works.
